Salesforce is the most powerful CRM platform in the world and one of the worst user experiences in enterprise software. The Lightning redesign improved surface-level aesthetics but didn't address the fundamental information architecture problems. Navigation is labyrinthine, customization creates inconsistency, and the simplest tasks require too many clicks. Users don't choose Salesforce for its UX; they tolerate its UX for its capability.
