Analysis

Calendly's booker-facing experience is one of the best single-purpose flows in SaaS: see availability, pick a time, done. It's the gold standard for reducing a multi-step process to its minimum. The scheduler-facing dashboard, however, doesn't match that quality. Event type management, team settings, and analytics all feel like they were designed with less care.

What earns the score

  • +Booking flow is the gold standard for scheduling
  • +Calendar integrations are reliable and fast
  • +Customization options cover most use cases

What holds it back

  • Admin dashboard doesn't match the quality of the booking flow
  • Team features add significant complexity
  • Analytics and reporting are basic
